Completing the Master’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management will prepare the students to face their future work in on the highest-demand sectors in Spain and globally.
The program has a network of associated companies, which represents a great professional opportunity for students, who will have the chance of spending three months working for renowned hotels and tourism companies . Not only do they have a direct involvement in the master’s teaching and host students for their master’s thesis, but they also recognize that the learning outcomes of the IHMGS program are suitable for positions in their institutions/companies.
After completing their Master’s in Tourism, Hospitality, & Spanish Culture, IHMGS students will have the necessary skills to work as hotel managers, tour operators, even coordinators, travel agents, restaurant managers, tourist marketers, public servants in tourism commissions, tour leaders, etc.
Aimed at young people between 18 and 35 years old that have completed secondary studies or vocational training in a related field, and want to pursue studies in Spain.
The access requirements are:
- XIIth grade / Senior High School / Baccalaureat
- ESSENTIAL medium level of English (B1-B2). Will be evaluated by interview
*Non-EU students (countries outside the European Union), must process their study visa.
From IHMGS we advise students with the study visa process. It is a TRADITIONAL STUDY VISA process. The basic documents to provide:
- Certificate of enrollment in IHMGS
- Proof of payment of the study program.
- Plan of studies to be carried out.
- Passport copy
- Study Visa Application Form + payment of Embassy fees
- Medical insurance that covers hospitalization costs of up to 30,000 euros and repatriation in case of death. Companies accepted in Spain, AXA or MAPFRE for example.
- Financial solvency: The student must demonstrate that he has 600 euros in a bank account for each month that he will stay in Spain, therefore 3,600 euros. *The embassy sometimes understands that since the accommodation during these 6 months in Spain is covered by the study program, sometimes does not request this requirement of financial solvency, which greatly speeds up the financial issue.
